Elevate Dance Academy is the home to the Legacy Dance Company.

At Elevate Dance Academy, we don’t just train dancers—we build a legacy. Legacy Dance Company is the next generation of performers who carry forward a tradition of excellence, discipline, and passion for the art of dance.

Our company dancers have a strong focus on training and technique. Weekly classes are designated for technical growth and learning a variety of dance styles including ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, tap, and hip hop. We believe that strong technical training is the foundation of every successful dancer, and rehearsals are treated as a separate, designated time for choreography, cleaning, and performance preparation.

Dancers must audition to be part of the company and take part in our Legacy Summer Intensive Camps. They perform locally and will also compete regionally and nationally.

Our Conservatory Track Dance Program is designed for dedicated dancers who are ready to elevate their training, artistry, and commitment to the next level. This selective program offers a focused, technique-driven experience centered around strong ballet foundations, refined technique, and intentional training that builds versatile, confident dancers.

This program is designed to work alongside the studio dance team program, giving dancers the opportunity to further strengthen their technique and training while continuing their competitive team experience. Placement is by audition only, ensuring a passionate, like-minded group of dancers who are serious about growth.

Training is led by esteemed faculty, including instructors from NJ Ballet and professionals holding Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Dance, bringing both professional experience and collegiate-level education into the studio.

Throughout the season, dancers will:

• Train in a structured, high-level environment with an emphasis on ballet and technical excellence

• Develop artistry, strength, and performance quality

• Perform and compete at two regional competitions and one national competition

• Be challenged, inspired, and supported in a goal-oriented setting

This program is more than just extra classes—it’s a commitment to discipline, passion, and progress.

At our dance academy, we believe education extends far beyond steps and technique. Our team bonding experiences foster trust, collaboration, and lifelong friendships, creating a supportive community where dancers thrive together. Through our mentorship program, older dancers have the opportunity to guide and inspire younger students, building leadership skills while strengthening connections across all age groups. We also encourage dancers to give back through volunteer opportunities, helping them grow as compassionate leaders both inside and outside the studio. To broaden their artistry, students explore diverse dance styles and participate in exclusive master classes with guest instructors. Together, these experiences cultivate well-rounded dancers who grow not only in skill, but also in confidence, character, and creativity.
